South Africa

We offer complimentary shipping to major city centres within South Africa.

  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days.
  • Orders are usually delivered within 2–6 business days.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.
  • If you require your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to assist.
  • One complimentary size exchange is available on South African orders, subject to our Returns Policy.

International Shipping

Merwe Mode ships worldwide through trusted international courier partners.

  • International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
  • Duties and taxes are included at checkout where applicable, meaning there should be no unexpected customs charges upon delivery.
  • Transit time is typically 6–14 business days, depending on your destination and local customs clearance.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided is accurate.

Please note that international orders are currently considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless the item arrives faulty.

Orders are generally ready for collection within 1–3 business days.

Returns

We want you to love your Merwe Mode purchase.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, eligible items may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund, exchange or store credit.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unworn, unused and unwashed.
  • Garments must be returned in their original condition.
  • All original tags must remain attached.
  • Items must be free from perfume, deodorant, makeup, stains or alterations.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Exchanges

If you require a different size, we're happy to help.

For South African customers, one complimentary size exchange is offered per order, subject to stock availability.

If your requested size is unavailable, you may choose between a refund or store credit.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

  • Custom-made garments.
  • Made-to-order pieces.
  • Gift cards.
  • Sale or clearance items.
  • International orders.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Every Merwe Mode garment is carefully inspected before leaving our studio.

If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Clear photographs of the garment.

Where a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will repair, replace or refund the garment at no additional cost.

Repairs

Merwe Mode garments are designed to be worn for years, not seasons.

Should your garment require repair due to normal wear, we offer a lifetime repair service wherever reasonably possible.

Repair costs will depend on the nature of the work required. We will always aim to restore your garment rather than replace it, helping to extend its life for many years to come.

Additional Information

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless an error has occurred on our part.
  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging returned items.
  • Merwe Mode is not responsible for returned parcels lost in transit if they are sent without tracking.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above.
